How Does It Work?
A stereo microscope is a type of optical microscope that can achieve magnifications that range from low to mid-range for optical microscopy (ours has magnifications between 3.5X and 180X). Its name comes from the fact that there are two complete sets of lenses which direct light independently to each of the user’s eyes, allowing the user to see things “in stereo”.
